Reversion in plants.

Using a Japanese maple as a subject, this is a good example how "reversion" can skew the outcome of a plant and the original intention of the gardener. Generally reversion can be cut out as soon as it becomes apparent, however, in this case the opposite is true purely because i have yet to see a good form of the maple in question.
