Eggleston Hall Gardens Videos
Cedrus atlantica Glauca Pendula
5th January, 2013
This short video was filmed at Ascot House in Buckinghamshire. The gardens are well worth a visit but open over a limited period in summer in a scheme between the National Trust and the de Rothschild family. There are many Cedars of all species and varieties, the yew hedging, clipped bay, and the Dutch Garden are almost worth a visit on their own, as is the topiary.
***Posh word alert*** Atlantica; From the Atlas mountains. Glauca; with a bloom on the leaves, or generally a blue-grey/green colour.
