Autumn colour on less common plants
5th January, 2013
Enter text…Not all colour is about Japanese Maples…..there are a thousand other plants whose colour is just as striking, just as dramatic, and often even more worthwhile, as in the case of some Cornus species, where there is the added attraction of spring or early summer flowers surrounded by beautiful and long lasting bracts.
***Posh word alert*** Bract; A modified, usually reduced (not always) leaf at the base of a flower stalk, cluster, or shoot.
